This cartoon clearly depicts how women's role was rapidly changing. Now they tried to go out more, or tried to behave more as men did in the way of copying their clothes or ways of dressing. This image may be mocking that although they tried to make a difference, they still remained women, and they belonged to the house, with their house duties.
